El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The Public Service Board (PSB), which oversees El Paso Water Utilities (EPWU), will begin holding public meetings to present and approve the Utilities’ Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2014-2015 which begins on March 1, 2014.
During the coming year, EPWU’s budgetary priorities include projects which will help meet the challenges of the on-going drought, upgrading aging infrastructure, and completing needed stormwater projects.
The PSB will hold public meetings to discuss the Operating and Capital Budget at the following day and times:
• On Monday, November 11, 2013, at 6pm, the board will discuss the budget of the stormwater utility.
• On Monday, November 18, 2013, at 6pm, the board will discuss the budget of the water and wastewater utility.
• On Monday, December 2, 2013, at 6pm, the board will meet only if needed to complete business not finished at earlier meetings.
• On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 8am, the board will hold its monthly meeting and take action on EPWU’s 2014-2015 Operating and Capital Budget.
All meetings will be held in the PSB Meeting Room, located on the fourth floor of EPWU’s main offices at 1154 Hawkins Boulevard.
