Monroe, WA — A Washington state man remains in the hospital after a tree fell on the roof of his car during a Saturday storm.
Aaron Rice, 48, said he was driving when the wind knocked over the tree.
"I just said I was dead, that's what I thought, I thought I was dead," said Rice.
Washington State Patrol responded to the accident on SR 203 just outside of Monroe. Rice said he was trapped inside his convertible Ford Mustang until firefighters cut off the roof to get him out.
