Fabens, TX (KTSM) — El Paso Sheriff's Deputies have arrested two men they allege robbed a business in Fabens on Monday evening.
Deputies responded to the business, located in the 1200 block of Cypress in Fabens at approximately 11:20 p.m. Monday evening and met with the owner of the business who claimed to be missing numerous items valued at over $40,000.
Further investigation lead Sheriff's Crimes Against Property Detectives to a residence in Fabens where during a consensual search of the property, other items belonging to the business owner were identified as stolen from the business.
Two suspects, Edgar Ramirez and Johnny Flores, both of Fabens, confessed to the burglaries and were placed under arrest and charged with Burglary of Building.
Sheriff's detectives say that one of the suspects was revealed to be a possible family member of the victim who recently started working around the business.
Ramirez and Flores were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond.
