LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The woman accused of of caging an 8-year-old disabled girl and leaving her home alone will be facing a jury trial in October.
Cindy Patriachias appeared in court Thursday for what was scheduled as a change of plea hearing, according to court records.
Patriarchias did not make a plea and instead the case will be tried in court on October 22nd.
Patriarchias is facing six counts of child abuse related charges for allegedly leaving the 8-year-old girl in a wooden cage while the rest of the family attended "movie night" at the school.
