WASHINGTON (CNN) — Home heating bills are expected to rise this winter for most Americans. That's according to the U.S. Department of Energy's cost forecast, released this week. Analysts predict households with natural gas will spend 13 percent more heating their homes this winter compared to last year. Propane users can expect a nine percent jump. Those who use only electricity will likely pay two percent more.
