El Paso, TEXAS (KTSM) — Police say a drunk driver, who was also texting and speeding, caused an accident in Northeast El Paso. The crash injured three people, including a 6-year-old child.
It happened just after 9 p.m.. Saturday night. Police say 31-year-old Raul Vizcarra was driving a Ford Fusion northbound on U.S.. 54 when he hit a Hyundai Tiburon, forcing that car into the guard rail. The driver of the Tiburon, a passenger and a six year-old child were seriously injured. Paramedics took them to University Medical Center. Officers arrested Vizcarra and took him to jail.
