Las Cruces, NM (KTSM) — The Whole Enchilada Fiesta returns to the City of the Crosses Friday- Sunday, Sept. 27th-29th.
The fiesta is considered one of the top 100 public events in the U.S., and the third largest in New Mexico.
The event brings in about 40,000 people from all over the Unites States and Mexico.
The highlight of the fiesta is creating and maintaining the Guinness Record of "The World's Largest Enchilada" made by Chef and founder of the Fiesta, Robert V. Estrada, owner of Roberto's Mexican Restaurant.
The event will feature activities such as craft booths, carnival rides, car show, parade, 5k walk/run and headlining entertainment.
General admission tickets are $5.00 for the day or $30.00 for a three day pass. Children seven and under are free.
