El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The Center for Civic Engagement at UTEP will launch its new Miner Volunteer Corps program focusing on student volunteers who are ready and on call to serve the community.
This launch will introduce students who have initially signed up to become the corps’ first ambassadors and kick off the recruitment of program members.
Community organizations will also be invited to submit their requests for volunteers.
The Miner Volunteer Corps program aims to have a pool of volunteers who are ready and on call to fill the need in the spirit of giving back and serving their community.
This program will be available and active year-round.
