El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The Greater El Paso Landfill is closing early today due to poor road travel conditions at the landfill caused by the rainfall, the city’s Environmental Services Department announced.
The landfill, at 2300 Darrington Road, will be closed to the general public effective immediately to ensure the safety of Environmental Services customers and employees.
The landfill will resume normal operating hours on Friday.
The landfill is normally open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
