Arizona (NBC NEWS) — Arizona's latest monsoon storm packed a punch on Monday with downing trees downed power lines, flooding roads and it left thousands of people without power.
The storm temporarily stopped takeoffs and landings at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The monsoon didn't just cover the landscape in dust, thunderstorms were also a problem.
A lightning strike from the storm caused trees in the area to catch on fire.
