El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The FBI needs the public's help to find a hitman and leader in the Barrio Azteca gang that could be in El Paso or Juarez.
They are looking for Eduardo Ravelo, a dangerous man that allegedly has ties to El Paso and Juarez, who's wanted for drug trafficking and murders in our region.
The FBI says he may have gotten plastic surgery and altered his fingerprints to disguise his identity. Authorties say he is resonsible for numerous murders, extortion, drug trafficking and other violent crimes. The FBI believes he is part of the Barrio Aztecas, who worked as hitmen for a larger group called the Vincente Carrillo Fuentes Drug Trafficking Organization. A federal grand jury indigted him in 2008 but has not been able to catch him and is now asking for the public's help.
"He uses fear to intimidate and actually increase his standing position in the organization. He should be considered extremely violent, extremely dangerous and is armed at all times," said Mark Morgan.
