Las Cruces — Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the suspect who held up a convenience store Monday evening.
Las Cruces Police learned that at around 9:30 p.m. Monday, a young man walked into the Pic Quik store at 1250 N. Valley Dr., threatened an employee with a black handgun and demanded money from the store’s register. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No physical injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as being in his early 20s, approximately 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. A store surveillance camera shows that the suspect was wearing black shorts, a blue and white horizontal-striped shirt, and a two-tone cap with what appears to be “New York” lettering. The suspect also had a small mustache.
