El Paso police are looking for a man accused of breaking into a home and stabbing the homeowner on the 4000 block of Trowbridge Sunday.
Police said the victim a 33-year-old man called 911 just after midnight saying he was stabbed by an intruder inside of his home. The victim said he left his back door open while he was bringing in some items from outside.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man about 6 feet tall with a thin build.
The man allegedly was confronted by the victim inside of the home and demanded the victim's wallet and money. The victim then attempted to force the suspect from the home at which time the suspect began to cut the victim several times with a small pocket knife. After the struggle the suspect ran away.
