Laredo, TX — The Laredo Lemurs fought out of an early 4-0 hole to come back to beat the El Paso Diablos 6-4. SS Jimmy Mojica was 3-for-4 with an RBI and 1B John Alonso scored twice including a solo homerun. The Diablos claimed a 4-0 lead through the first inning and a half thanks to a two-run homerun by RF Welington Dotel but the Lemurs started mounting a comeback in the bottom of the second inning. Laredo reeled off six unanswered runs in the last six and a half innings to claim victory. Reliever Jake Cowen earned the win for 3.1 innings of work and Mark Haynes sealed the win and earned the save.
