Apple is sending audit teams to china to look into labor complaints. The teams will investigate three Chinese factories accused of having extremely poor working and living conditions.
Reports from the non-profit China Labor Watch claim factory workers who assemble Iphones and Mac Computers are overworked, underpaid and not getting overtime.
Reports also detail management abuses and health and safety concerns. A spokesperson for Apple in Beijing said the company, "Is committed to providing safe and fair working conditions and will investigate the claims immediately."
