El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Adoptions are still on hold tonight for the 55 animals rescued from a home in East El Paso this week but there is some good news.
Pets Barn owners have offered to give a free year supply of food to those who adopt the dogs.
News Channel Nine spoke to the El Paso Humane Society who says the shelter was already at capacity but still took in 30 of the animals rescued, Tuesday.
Staff helped microchipped all of them, gave them vaccinations and now they are just waiting to find loving homes for them.
The Humane Society says the animals are in good condition.
Police are investigating the case and it's unclear what charges the owner will face.
