ALAMAGORDO, N.M. — Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, N.M. announced a new joint venture partnership with Sierra Providence Health Network that health officials said would bring sophisticated life-saving, interventional cardiovascular care to the Alamogordo and Otero County.
This partnership included construction and joint management of a Center for Interventional Heart Care and a cardiac catheterization lab. Patients will benefit from interventional cardiac teams who have a reputation for excellence in quality and performance. Sierra Providence Health Network is an American Heart Association award winning operational leader.
Officials said the benefits of this partnership included increased stability for the providers and Hospital; improved quality and efficiency; and better clinical integration for cardiovascular services.
