EL PASO — A sinkhole on the intersection of Giles and Adobe in El Paso's Lower Valley led to some inconveniences for the neighborghood.
The damage occured late morning Friday directly in front of La Poblana Bakery. Area residents describe it as if Godzilla went through the area. They say that it was sheer luck that no one was driving down that part of the street at the time.
EPWU crews arrived on the scene to start pumping out the water. Water service was cut off to nearby residents and businesses.
