LAS CRUCES, NM (KTSM) — Interstate 25 in Las Cruces, between mile marker 21-22 has the southbound lanes closed, according to New Mexico Dept. of Transportation officials.
The closure comes after a commercial vehicle incident, and driver are advised toseek an alternate route until the area is clear.
Additional closures are NM-211 at mile marker 3 at Bear Creek in the Gila, and NM-159 in Mogollon between mile marker 10-25 due to debris along the roadway. This is related to the heavy rain and flooding within these areas.
Motorists were advised to proceed with caution and to avoid these routes until conditions changes. Updates will be placed on the NMDOT web site at www.nmroads.com , which can be retrieved by call 511 in state and 1-800-432-4269 out of state.
