El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The El Paso Independent School District is stepping up its game to try and entice high school dropouts to return to school.
The district will unveil a new billboard campaign to help recruit these students tomorrow.
It's all a part of the Alpha Initiative, a program focussed on finding students who left school, "for whatever reason."
The Texas Education Agency has also required the district to seek out students who may have been pushed out in the cheating scandal, as part of its probation conditions.
More details about the billboard campaign will be announced 9 a.m. Tuesday at the E.P.I.S.D board meeting, 6531 Boeing Dr.
