El Paso, TX (KTSM) — After weeks of hundred degree temperatures, the borderland finally saw a change in the weather. Some of it did some damage.
A large tree blew over and onto Seale Ct. in East El Paso.
One resident tells NewsChannel 9 she saw it coming, and even called the city last year to have the dead tree cut down but Mother Nature took care of it instead.
"I feel very fortunate God was watching us because the tree didn't fall on anybody or did not damage any property," said Joyce Whiteside.
The city did cut down several other trees in that neighborhood Monday.
