El Paso — The National Weather Service in El Paso/Santa Teresa has issued a heat advisory which is in effect from noon Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday. This means we will experience hot temperatures with little relief at night.
People are urged to use caution if working or playing outdoors. Drivers are also urged to use caution when getting out of their cars, not leaving unattended children or pets behind.
Experts urge to check up on relatives and neighbors, wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and drink plenty of water.
