EL PASO (KTSM) — The trial for a man accused of stabbing and killing an 18-year-old man at a house party in Northeast El Paso is scheduled to begin Monday.
Luis Ramos, 24, is charged with murder in the death of Angel Garcia, who was 18 when he died in November of 2009.
Investigators said it started as a fight at a home on Sagittarious in Northeast El Paso. Ramos allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Garcia in the neck. Garcia later died at the hospital.
If convicted, Garcia faces five to 99 years in prison.
