El Paso, TX (KTSM) — University of Phoenix El Paso campus will host a business symposium that will offer insights about the local economy and networking opportunities for local professionals.
Panelists will discuss current economic development efforts focused on technology and aligning the local workforce with the demands of the 21st century economy.
Keynote Speaker Roberto A. Coronado will discuss El Paso's economic outlook for the remainder of 2013 and share details about how El Paso is leading U.S. recovery through its expanding economy.
"To compete globally, employers need professionals who are problem solvers and critical thinkers," said Barbara Janowski, University of Phoenix El Paso Campus director. "Our curriculum is built to mirror the workplace and focus on growing these skills.
The event will be on Wednesday, June 19th from 1-4pm at 11820 Miriam Dr.
This symposium is free and open to the public.
