EL PASO, TX (KTSM) — Former District 4 candidate Sam Morgan said a vote recount will be held Friday at the County Courthouse at 9 a.m.
Morgan lost to incumbent Carl Robinson in Saturday's run-off election to represent Northeast El Paso by only 22 votes and demanded a recount.
Both candidates can be present during the recount that will be done by four teams. Each candidate can have two representatives per team to oversee the count.
Once the count is done, the vote is official.
Morgan left a $2,100 payment to start the recount process but said he may have to pay more.
