Eating healthy can be a struggle sometimes especially with so many options in restaurants and the grocery store, so now some people are looking back, way back to make eating a little simpler. It's called the caveman diet.
Also known as the paleo diet it harkens back to what our ancestors used to eat: meat, vegetables, seeds, nuts and some fruit. That means dairy and grains are out.
One woman on the diet missed baked goods so she figured out a way to make muffins, breads, granola the paleo way -- made only with almond flour and almond butter. Now she is making plans to put it on the market.
"So, I did it for a month, it was a 30 day challenge and I ended up losing 5 inches, and then we did it a second month and I lost 5 more inches," said Jordan Windschauer who has created the Paleo Box.
The paleo diet is also gluten-free, so it works for people with some chronic health problems, including celiacs disease. But it's not without controversy. Some nutrition experts argue that our bodies have adapted to be able to process grains and dairy.
