El Paso, TX (KTSM) — El Paso is about to get a new fire station.
At Tuesday's council meeting, city representatives, will award the job of building fire station number five to the F.T. James Construction Company for 4.2 million dollars.
The station will be build on Alameda, right near Washington Park.
They will also agree to purchase two new fire trucks for a total cost of 1.6 million dollars and they will discuss a partnership with UTEP's golden age fitness program in order to provide access to an affordable health program for seniors.
