El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — Four El Paso City Representative seats were up for grabs Saturday night. Three of the four are headed to a runoff. Emma Acosta ran unopposed in District 3 and was elected to another term.
In District 2, Jim Tolbert narrowly defeated Larry Romero by less than a percentage point. Both received about 17 percent of the vote. Both will face each other in a runoff on June 15.
In District 4, incumbent Carl Robinson won by a wide margin. He received 42 percent of the vote. Sam Morgan came in second with 29 percent of the vote. That race is also headed to a runoff.
In District 7, Tania Chozet is the winner. She received 30 percent of the vote. Lily Limon came in second with 21 percent of the vote. Both will face each other again on June 15 in a runoff.
