EL PASO, TX (KTSM) — More arrests followed Wednesday's raid of a drug trafficking ring in Anthony, New Mexico.
Wednesday afternoon the FBI and assisting law enforcement said about 100 agents arrested 22 people, recovered about 20 weapons, three kilos of cocaine valued at $75,000 and 2 cars.
During their undercover investigation, agents bought various amounts of drugs through undercover buyers and even used wire taps as part of their work.
Five fugitives remained after Wednesday's arrests, however Martin Nevarez and Victor Alvarez have also been apprehended.
Still wanted were Daniel Arrieta, Gerardo Garcia and Rodolfo Portillo. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call police.
