El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The music, dancing, food, drinks and atmosphere are all part of the free outdoor concert series called Alfresco Fridays.
"It's like the beginning of Spring and Summer. The outdoor activities, spending time with family," said local El Pasoan Daniela Marquez.
Joseph Brooks and his daughter Roselyn couldn't be happier to kick off their weekend at this family friendly event.
"All kinds of different music and it's fun for the kids. It's fun for the adults. You can have drinks, popcorn and hot dogs. Overall it's a good time," said Brooks.
"I love enjoying and having fun with the people, the music. I love everything about Alfresco Fridays," said Marquez.
It's not just about ending the week on a high note, but uniting the El Paso community.
"It brings the community together and I think it shows the kids a little bit of the culture we have in El Paso and its nice. I think everyone should come over," said El Pasoan Lupita Charles.
Roselyn Brooks said she and her dad will be back.
