EL PASO (KTSM) — Temperatures were in the lower 40’s in El Paso Friday morning which is unusual for this time of the year.
The cold front first made its way into the borderland Thursday as temperatures dipped about 30 degrees from Wednesday.
On Friday morning it's was even colder. The winds blew and the temperatures continued to dip around the freezing point.
We caught up a Justin Lamott who stopped in El Paso to visit a friend and now he's headed to California.
He said he was surprised it was so cold and he didn't even have a jacket to wear.
"I really hate this weather. Why? I'm just not built for it. I get really cold quick so I'm not really built for it," said Lamott.
The good news is the temperatures will begin warming up Saturday.
