El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Early voting continues in El Paso as the city searches for a new mayor. Wednesday was day three of early voting. Statistics released today by the county show more than 2,700 people have cast their ballots since Monday.
The ballot for the May 11th election includes the mayor's race, four city representative seats, and school board trustee elections in the El Paso, Socorro and Ysleta districts. Voters are encouraging their fellow Borderland residents to go cast their vote.
"That's the only way that we get a chance to pick the individuals that we want. This election we have propositions its very important if you are for them you have to get out, if you are against them you need to get out, because it's the only way we can make a difference in our government," said Danny Anchondo.
