FABENS, Texas — A possible hit and run motorcycle crash east of Fabens shutdown I-10 for about 4 hours Saturday afternoon.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said a male motorcyclist was driving westbound on I-10 and according to witnesses saw him fly through a cloud of dust across the median to the eastbound lanes of traffic.
"We're hoping that witnesses traveling west at the time of the accident as well as other witnesses that are in the area will have more information for us," Becerra said.
Deputies said a vehicle may have hit the motorcycle, but they do not know for sure.
They said the victim is from out-of-town and are not releasing his name at this time.
I-10 reopend shortly after 10pm.
