EL PASO — Deadly assault charges stemmed from a Wednesday morning stabbing after police arrested three suspects.
Investigators said Fransisco Banda, Mario Gonsalez and Jesus Contreras worked together when they assaulted three victims in front of a home on Imperial Gem. The victims sustained injuries to their torso, back, cuts to their head and chin areas and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspects were armed with a bat and cutting type instrument, according to the report. Meth was also recovered from inside the home, adding drug possession charges for Banda and Gonsalez.
