EL PASO — If you're a fan of bowling, or of actress Cindy Morgan, or just want to help a family in need, here's how you do all three at once.
In February, we told you about Joe Espinoza, his wife Maria Zamora and their three kids.
They gave a man $850 as a deposit to rent a home in the Eastside.
Turns out, the man didn't own the property and took their money.
Both Joe and Maria are currently out of work, and the little money they could save up was in that man's hands.
After seeing our story, Jeannine Puhlman, a promoter of Sun City SciFi, decided to team up with westside bowling alley Fiesta Lanes, for a Bowl-A-Thon this Saturday, March 30.
All proceeds during the 3-hour period will go to the family.
