LAS CRUCES, NM — If you live in Doña Ana County here's an opportunity to serve your community. The county needs people to serve on its Planning and Zoning Commission. The seven member board of volunteers reviews land use and development matters twice a month. Three seats are currently open. All three seats will be filled at the county's Board of Commissioners meeting on April 23rd. Planning and Zoning Commission meetings typically last three hours, from 9 a.m. to noon on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.
