Teen's death spurs investigation at Caballo Lake

Sierra County — New Mexico State Police were investigating the death of a missing Las Cruces teen whose body was recovered from Caballo Lake, they said. 

Nineteen year-old Omar Sanchez reportedly went missing Saturday. State Police learned he was camping with two other subjects that evening before he disappeared. His body was recovered by Search and Rescue crews the following Sunday. 

The cause of death is still under investigation.
