EL PASO — A car slammed into a light pole in central El Paso. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning on Pershing and Copia. Our overnight photographer spotted the driver walking away from the crash site but police later caught up with him. Police say no one was injured nor arrested. No word yet on what caused the crash.
