New Mexico Congressman Harry Teague says he's satisfied with how Beaumont Army Mecial Center is handling a potentially devastating situation.
The hospital admits it put thousands of patients at risk when it misused insulin injection pens.
Last week Teague sent an e-mail to hospital leaders with a list of questions.
He warned if he wasn't satisfied with the answers he'd request a congressional hearing into the incident at the hospital.
Teague met with hospital leaders Saturday and says he's satisfied with the answers he's been giving for now.
He says he is pleased with the number of at risk patients the hospital has contacted so far and how honest and open leaders have been.
So far the hospital says it's contacted over 1,400 patients and tested over 800.
