There's a new option for sandwich lovers on the city's East side.
Dallas-based Jason's Deli held a soft opening yesterday at the new El Paso location off George Dieter. The official opening will be Monday.
The general manager of the deli says the rastaurant's presentation, customer service, and most importantly, variety, is what sets the chain apart from the competition.
"We've got a different variety. Pastas, salads, corn beef, pastrami, and 39 items on the salad bar. Big variety," says Fernando Kerales, the deli's general manager.
Kerales says the restaurant's success up the road in Las Cruces was a key factor in moving the chain to El Paso.
