EL PASO — EPISD board of trustees decided to move forward with the proposal to notify the assistant superintendent of high schools of his termination Wednesday night.
James Anderson who was present at the meeting wanted to read a letter to the board but was not allowed.
Anderson, among other things, was accused of violating the code of ethics where it's believed he was aware of the cheating at Bowie and failed to correct any of the problems.
"He screamed it to the agency that is in charge of making sure our district is run properly and it went all the way up," said Anderson's attorney, Lynn Coyle. "Those early reports in June of 2010 went to the top of TEA."
Coyle said they will seek out every possible option to have him regain his job.
