El Paso- The city wants to make some street improvements, but they need your help.
Right now this is just in the design mode for these street reconstruction projects. Before the city moves forward with the final plan, they want community input.
The first location is in the Lower Valley on Carpenter Street. This road could get new sidewalks, A.D.A. compliant wheelchair ramps and new driveways for residents. A community meeting will be held tomorrow night at Cadwallader Elementry School at 6 p.m.
The second location is in Central El Paso on two popular one way streets east of Dyer....Van Buren and Monroe. Both of these streets could be converted to two way traffic and curbs, sidewalks, gutters and landscaping will also get improvements.
The community meeting for that project happened Wednesday night at the Grandview Senior Center.
