EL PASO — A pedestrian was struck and killed this morning along Gateway Boulevard West. It happened at around 8:30, one mile west of the Clint exit. Sherrif's deputies say a 33 year-old pedestrian was struck by a car. The man died on the scene. His name has not yet been released, but we do know the victim was employed by Exceed Resources, a non profit that hires people with intellectual disabilities. Exceed is a subcontractor for TX Dot, and the victim and two others were working on Gateway Boulevard West at the time.
