The price of an iPhone could dip this year

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Apple is working on a version of its iPhone that's cheaper.  The smart phone could debut as early as this year.  The report cites "people briefed on the matter" and says Apple is looking into switching from the standard aluminum body to a lower cost polycarbonate plastic, which would drop the price of the device.  Apple declined to comment on the report.
