EL PASO — The El Paso County Sheriff's office made nearly 150 arrests during their DWI Enforcement Wave from December 21 - January 1.
The operation was funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The focus of the operation was to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes during the holiday season. A total of 11 people were arrested for driving while intoxicated.
