Mother Nature can make traveling difficult. But today's snow, ice, and winds have caused more delays for some than for others.
Passengers at a Sun Metro bus station in Central El Paso were very cold but not too frustrated. Sun Metro says buses were running on the regular schedule with some minor delays caused by road conditions.
Los Paisanos charter bus company was also running on time.
If you were flying in or out of town today, however, your travels may not have been as smooth. Earlier today, two American Airlines flights coming in from Dallas were cancelled and one Southwest flight from Dallas was delayed.
The winter weather didn't hassle bus passengers too much, but flyers weren't as lucky.
"No I haven't been waiting any longer. They've been arriving at the right time they're supposed to, every 30 minutes," said Omar Cruz, who was waiting to catch a bus at the central stop.
"The weather has had an impact on our flights today. We have seen cancellations and also, many delays," said Liz Bellegarde, Marketing and Customer Relations representative at El Paso International Airport.
El Paso International Airport encourages travelers to call their airline ahead of time and visit the airport's website, www.flyelpaso.com to check flight times
Most importantly, make sure you leave home early to get to where you need to be on time, drive safely, and be prepared in case you're stranded.
