El Paso, Texas — Sunday will be the last evening the San Jacinto Plaza Christmas lights will shine in downtown El Paso, at least for this year.
That's according to the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department.
The lighting of the 54-foot Christmas tree rang in the holiday season at the start of December with the Celebration of Lights parade.
The lights will turn off for the last time at 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Families, friends and visitors can see the lights every night until Sunday from 5:30-11:30 p.m.
