Murders Near 800 in Juarez for 2012

Cd. Juárez, Mexico — Murders nearly reached 800 across Juarez for 2012.

Officials say 787 murders were recorded for the year.

January saw the most with 129 murders, then numbers declined. October had the least with 33.

This number has significantly decreased over the past few years.

Juarez saw 1,000 in 2011, compared to 1,607 in 2008 when the drug war began.
