EL PASO — On Christmas Day at noon, many El Pasoans who had perhaps slept in and exchanged holiday gifts, arrived at church services for a reminder of what Christmas is truly about--the arrival of a special child who would one day bear the world's sins, for their own salvation.
At St. Raphael Parish Church in East El Paso, Father Jerry Persha tells us the Christmas story. "God has so fallen in love with his creation, this world, and the human family, that he has decided to become one of us...and becoming a man, he showed us how to live as men and women responsibly before one another and especially before God".
