The Indianapolis Colts got an early Christmas present Monday when first year head coach Chuck Pagano returned to his duties after overcoming his battle with leukemia.
Pagano was the first one to arrive at the team's headquarters Monday morning. The first-year head coach returned to the helm for the first time in nearly three-months, just a day after the Colts clinched a playoff berth.
Now with a game against division-leading Houston upcoming, coach just hopes he doesn't get in the way of his hot, young team.
"There was never a doubt in my mind that I'd be standing up here at some point and addressing you and the team again," said Pagano. "This thing's rolling pretty good, so if I just don't get in the way, I feel great."
The Colts welcome Houston to Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday afternoon for their regular season finale.
